John Kilday
John Kilday is a CPA with a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University. Early in his career, he spent several years working in the corporate environment before realizing that was not for him. He embarked on a different career path that involved bringing his skills and training directly to the people who needed his services. So, in 1987, he established KILDAY CPAs.
Over the years John has had the honor to serve a diverse number of individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and nonprofits. These experiences helped him hone his most important skill, the ability to listen to his clients. By understanding his client’s individual needs, he is able to best help them achieve their goals.
John and his assistant of 17 years, Cindy Parker, work out of their office located in downtown Middleburg. The casual and easygoing office atmosphere makes clients feel both welcome and comfortable. By utilizing his specialized training and education, John not only solves his client’s issues, but more importantly he gives them peace of mind knowing that their critical business is being professionally handled.

KILDAY CPAs serves clients across the United States. In fact, many clients who have moved out of the Virginia area still send in their annual tax work to John. All communication can be handled by mail, email, phone or in person. While John and Cindy enjoy in-person meetings it is certainly not a requirement.
When not working John is an avid sports fan and history buff. He has a passion for exploring the backroads and byways of this country while learning about the historical significance of every small town and site he visits. If you want to know how Thomas Jefferson traveled to Philadelphia 1n 1776, ask John, he may be the only person who knows. He also enjoys playing golf and for those who like their business meetings on the links, John is happy to accommodate.
Cindy Parker
Cindy Parker is a career financial professional. She has worked in various capacities with both corporations and individuals including daily money management, accounts receivables and payables, payroll and human resources. She also has supported John for the past 17 years helping him manage Kilday CPAs and supports every capacity of their clients’ work.
Cindy is the voice of the firm and is likely the first one you will speak to when you call. All of Kilday CPAs clients have come to appreciate her friendly, warm and endearing ways.
Cindy is an avid sports and racing fan and especially loves her Capitals. An active member of her church, Cindy spends much of her free time supporting her church’s community outreach programs. When not at work, Cindy enjoys exploring the world by way of cruise ships, concerts and sporting events.
